Racing Journey
Early Career
Sally Mott began racing at eight years old as part of a father-daughter bonding experience before quickly developing a passion for motorsports. After starting in karting, she transitioned into Spec Miata competition and rapidly advanced into the highly competitive Mazda MX-5 Cup Series.
MX-5 Cup Success
In November 2023, Sally earned the prestigious Women’s Initiative Scholarship, securing a factory-supported seat for the 2024 Mazda MX-5 Cup season. During her rookie campaign, she finished 12th in the championship standings out of 47 drivers and became the highest-finishing female driver in the series.
NASCAR Development
In 2026, Sally transitioned into the NASCAR Late Model ranks, competing at Hickory Motor Speedway and Tri-County Speedway while continuing to develop her racecraft and prepare for future advancement up the NASCAR ladder.
